I was there last Saturday to get some peace and quiet. While there I took a tour of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. It was delightful and I got to taste all of the beers they produced for free. Later in the evening, I ate a wonderful Basque restaurant in town. If you haven't been in one, you guys should try this place out. Then, on Sunday, I visited a Cistercian Monastery at Vina, CA which is nearby Chico, CA. Yes, I did talk to one monk there for direction to their wine tasting room. The tasting room was staffed with women. One lady served us a taste of their wines and all for free.
