I have a friend who now lives in Brevard, NC - she was a student at MIU when they made the transition to Fairfield - she thought they were crazy to leave CA. Santa Barbara is a lovely place, but there was no room for growth there. MIU was in a rented facility. People wouldn’t have been able to afford to move there and build a community like we have here.
