Consciousness is a picture in our heads. Anything you see that isn't communicated to us via our senses we are imagining. "IMO, this phenomenon cannot be ignored as a scientific fact nor be dismissed as a fantasy." Consciousness and its peculiarities isn't being ignored at last! But I suspect it's a fantasy in the sense that there isn't anything objective being experienced.
