The climate science new term is "climate disruption" which is indeed
what we are seeing. So this could even last into June with some
occasional. One scientist said that farmers are going to need to adjust
for such disruption rather expect the same weather patterns year after
year. Thing is California produces as much as 1/3 the nation's food and
a drought would severely impact food prices.
