And, um, I don't like to mention it, since it is a sore subject, but, I really
wish there was a way to reduce the flow to S. Cal. It IS a desert, and de-sal
is the way to go, instead of channeling Sierra water hundreds of miles south.

The climate science new term is "climate disruption" which is indeed what we
are seeing. So this could even last into June with some occasional. One
scientist said that farmers are going to need to adjust for such disruption
rather expect the same weather patterns year after year. Thing is California
produces as much as 1/3 the nation's food and a drought would severely impact
food prices.

Thankfully we still have green lawns, and haven't turned on the sprinklers
for months, now. Seems like every time the grass really starts to parch, we get
a good drenching. Not enough for the Central Valley, I know, but at least no
dust bowl here, so far.

That's good news for my garden here in SF. Last night, we had plenty of
rain. So, I don't have to water the plants until next week as part of my water
conservation measure.
