Vaj, I've missed out on this whole brouhaha, and am somewhat thankful for that :-), but your comment does inspire a question. Have you heard of any Western cancer studies involving the reishi mushroom? The word I got from a Chinese tonic herbalist I knew was that in Japan, its benefits are so well documented that no course of chemotherapy is ever prescribed without supplementing it with a regimen of reishi, the reason being that the survival rates go up considerably. Also, on another subject entirely, do you know about the Bruce Cockburn "Full House" DVD? It's a live recording from (I think...I have received my copy but been unable to watch it yet because I've been moving) Germany, during the era of one of his hottest bands, when he was touring with both Hugh Marsh on violin and his brother Fergus Marsh on the Chapman Stick.
