 I like it that human beings have imaginations and have a desire for unusual 
and mysterious entities, creatures and events to exist and to happen. This is a 
good thing. It means we still have aspects of young children in us that want to 
be amazed and surprised. I think scientists are sometimes like the spoilers of 
the party - the curmudgeons that can't stand the idea that anyone is excited 
about or hoping for the existence of something you can't measure or quantify.
