No, I use the information gleaned from taking workshops in
alternative medicine. I used alternative medicine since 1972.
You do know you are arguing against people who have actually
    taken courses in it?

Maybe it's time to view some credentials. We took an ayurveda course with Robert Svoboda in Austin.

In fact most of my ayurvedic workshops were from Dr. Svoboda (who is an MD). My ayurvedic practitioner was also an MD in Berkeley. Dr. Dinesh Sharma is an Indian MD who because he had a family could do the residency required to be licensed in the US. Very bright guy and learned ayurveda from his grandfather.

Like I say, it's all just chemistry and yet some people seem to think that non pharmaceutical cures have no properties. Wow!

A lot of it is based on biochemistry or what many rich kid
medical students seem to have difficulty with.
But is it the biochemistry part double-blinded or just the usual
hopeful time-tested anecdotal stuff that falls flat under scrutiny?
Just studying something doesn't prove its efficacy, every quack
herbalist out there studied it at some point...

No, no, no, you use biochemistry to understand the logic behind why certain substances work against certain maladies. It will give insight into how other substances as well as environments might work. It's not just used for testing. Now go back to your darts and ale.:-D
