It will be interesting to see if anything downtown here has been damaged because there are a number of vacant downtown buildings not retrofitted. They're calling this the first major earthquake of the Internet Age. In fact rather than futzing with my clock radio I just went to local stations streaming feeds on my phone to get info. Here's a Dropcam video from someone's house near the epicenter. That's all a relief! We don't get them here at all really, not until they start gas fracking next year LOL... When the quake in 2007 hit I was watching TV in the living room and dropped down to the floor. Dive under a table. If the roof had begun sounding like it was coming down this morning I would have dropped to the floor as it would have fallen on the bed but the space on the floor by the bed would be safe. In this modern age a lot folks lost their TVs that were hanging on the walls. Mine is just sitting on it's stand and wasn't effected but then a 55" LED weighing almost 100 lbs doesn't move much and the way they did the stand it can't fall forward.
