Bhakti is a spontaneous devotional service, based on an acquired
selfless desire to serve one's chosen Ishta-deva or guru. According to
Rupa Gosvami, the author of /Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu/, described
bhakti as "an unbroken flow of oil from one vessel to another vessel."
