Most of the informants posting to FFL are TMers, so they are probably not all that interested in devotion to a higher power, or devotion to a guru or a teacher. If you have been following the conversation on this forum you would realize that most of the respondents seem to be interested in /Raja Yoga/ - a meditation that is transcendental.

Bhakti is a spontaneous devotional service, based on an acquired selfless desire to serve one's chosen Ishta-deva or guru. According to Rupa Gosvami, the author of /Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu/, described bhakti as "an unbroken flow of oil from one vessel to another vessel."
