Of course Michael, you just have no tact, not that tact has any effect on certain kinds of minds. With certain kinds of minds, it's shoot first, and you don't have to ask questions later. This means real bullets.

I do not think you have followed the guidelines either. One of the guidelines is keeping content relevant to the group. Mosts of your posts lately have been a complaint about the group. The subject matter here is rather diverse, but the main point of FFL is: 'Fairfield Life focuses on topics of interest to seekers (and finders) of truth and liberation everywhere.' This is not a topic limited to your parochial religious view of truth and liberation. It would include not only religious subjects, enlightenment, scientific truth, philosophical truth, free thinking truth, logic, and also what is not truth, because if you cannot discern untruth, you cannot know what truth is. Truth is not a mindset about a certain topic, it is about what shatters a mindset when investigating a topic. The mind cannot be free if it hews to a rigid mindset. While you have your own particular topic, it certainly is not what this group is about. You are off topic. You do not generally discuss other topics other than your own dissatisfaction. Dissatisfaction, or 'unsatisfactoriness' of life is one of the goals that, for example, Buddhism works to eliminate. It is not eliminated by complaining about it. Some people here have studied various forms of Buddhism, though certainly not all. One of the other guidelines is 'to have a good time', and you do not seem to be having one here. You are in violation of this guideline. You have basically ostracised yourself from the group and then hang around to complain about what you did as if others were responsible. Join in and have a real discussion sometime. Finding out what 'truth' is is not about having people agree with you, because what one person thinks is true, well maybe it isn't. And that is the story we are looking for the ending for, because the book isn't finished. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, <dhamiltony2k5@...> wrote : In FFL post # 409725, Laughinggull108 writes: “..I'm beginning to think you just might be insane”.
