They lead a massive invasion when the United States congress decided to cut funding to both the South Vietnamese government and American military. What does Agent orange, birth defects and 3 million dead have to do with the dispute being settled? You said nothing had been settled by war since WW2. Does that mean there weren't 3 million skulls, birth defects etc then? Remember a little thing called Hiroshima and Nagasaki?< As for the dispute between Iraq and Kuwait, Yes it was settled, Iraq  was thrown out of Kuwait and Kuwait's sovereignty restored, regardless of whether things were ever settled in Iraq. The mission was not to establish stability in Iraq or topple the Iraqi regime , it was to remove Iraq form Kuwait. <To what degree things are settled in the Falklands, Argentina is definitely not making any attempt to impose themselves there now.
