For small minds intent upon finding an esoteric "explanation" for something, one that makes them feel more important for knowing it, even though there is a much simpler and more elegant explanation available. Occam's razor, dude. It slices, it dices, it reveals the truth. :-) I was having lunch with some relatives in Rhode Island a few years ago and the topic of the World Trade Towers coming down came up. One said it was an inside job. The other, who worked for a large insurance firm that insures buildings like that (and had 250 adjusters working under her) they knew pretty well how those buildings would fare if hit by aircraft and there was no doubt in their minds that the plane took them down. I know a few high iron architect/engineers, the kind who build skyscrapers, and none of them ever had any problem with the WTC buildings being brought down by the planes. I agree with Salyavin in another thread -- most of the 9/11 conspiracy theories were thought up by Americans who don't want to believe that a bunch of "ragheads" living in caves and following an infidel religion could possibly do this to them. But they not only could, they did.
