That's pretty funny Michael. I think if M had just stuck with TM, and
avoided the woo, it might have eventually worked out better for everyone.
Traditionally meditation techniques spread in a very small number of followers
and information on what kind of experiences bad and good come up and how to
deal with them can be focused on those people. But once you create a sprawling
organisation that attention to detail and results falters and attention is
diverted to maintaining a sprawling organisation which becomes the main focus
of all those who have come to be dependent on it. I think that dependency is
less like an addiction than the need to maintain particular mental beliefs, the
mind gets locked into seeing the world a particular way even if that way does
not work to create independence in life.
Now I know some here (and there) think you have a sick mind. So I will
