(not that I bothered to read anything below) of course, that irony is completely lost on you. what, I'm afraid you're missing, is that Barry is, what is defined as, a "classic troll". that is to say, there are some lines that he respects, but overall, his agenda is to push people's buttons, and misrepresent people's opinions in a way to get a reaction.
