The latest anti-Beeb hoo haa was caused by the government wanting the meeja to stop using the term "Islamic state" when describing those head chopping nutbags in the Levant. The BBC refused saying that it's their chosen name and changing it now would confuse everyone anyway. The government are idiots if they think calling them Daesh or whatever is going one iota of difference but it's something to bash the beeb with so that's alright.
