Two different stories here.Oregon shooter was not a child. He was twenty -six.
Last paragraph of the article. Mercer said, "That's what guns are:the killers(
obviously in denial of his son's evil nature). It's as simple as that. It's
black and white. What do you want a gun for?" Oy! Guns are inanimate objects,
they don't kill anybody. Somebody has to pull the trigger and have an intent.
What do I want a gun for? Well, had I been in that class room with a gun, and
his son walked in and started asking people if they were Christians, then
shooting them when they said yes, I would have pulled my gun out and said
Allahu- fucking- akbar and shot him in his freakin head! Nobody else would have
died. That is why people need guns. Cops are reactive. It took them twenty
minutes to get to the scene. BTW, try Googling Mass Shootings outside the US.
It happens all over the world, not just the US.

children. Obviously, the father was negligent in this case. He could face

It's the father who should be charged. But maybe he will not be because of the
prevailing, "well, these things can happen" mentality that exists in this
country at the moment regarding gun violence. Americans + guns = insanity.
