However, I don't begrudge those that do, for whatever legal reason they may
have. If I wanted to own guns , the AK or AR would be for sport and a
pistol(with conceal or open carry permit)for self defense, provided I wanted to
carry in public. I guess for you, it wouldn't be fair for someone to have been
there in a position to defend themselves or others from that guy,not unless
they were police who were twenty minutes or more away. Maybe the shooter would
wait for the cops to get there and stop him. Ya think? I don't know , maybe
there weren't enough *gun free zone* signs posted around the campus. Bet that
would have stopped him! Maybe we could try that around the White House or
Sidwell Friends Academy. Might take a littler pressure off of the Secret
Service.

shooter walked in and you were the first to be shot before you could yell out
the war cry and pull the gun out of it's concealed location....would have been
karma, I guess. Let's hope you would have survived to kick butt someplace

What do I want a gun for? Well, had I been in that class room with a gun, and
his son walked in and started asking people if they were Christians, then
shooting them when they said yes, I would have pulled my gun out and said
Allahu- fucking- akbar and shot him in his freakin head! Nobody else would have
died. That is why people need guns. Cops are reactive. It took them twenty
minutes to get to the scene. BTW, try Googling Mass Shootings outside the US.
It happens all over the world, not just the US.
