Typical Dave Brubeck, a jazz innovator. But that's a tough beat to dance with. But Earth, Wind and Fire in the 1970s created a different soul sound by using 6/4 time and 6/8 time. The sound is more understandable with a slow funk. But it's difficult to play, especially when the musicians have to dance in unison for a choreographed performance.
