Personally, Trump (Mr. "I want to buy a farm in Iowa" because I'm so great) or Cruz (Mr. Tea Party or be damned) would be a sure fire disaster, nationally and internationally (i.e., foreign policy). I believe one must be willing to play with others' and neither of them do. Maybe one reason Rubio did so well? I personally think that if Rubio is nominated, he will pose the best chance the Republicans have to win. So, I hope Trump is nominated.
I'm not sure Sanders can play well with others either. Although, ideologically, I'm much more in his camp than out. However, I have serious doubts that the "revolution" needed will materialize, when push comes to shove. And then there is the timing of it all; most of Congress would have to be voted out. Within his lifetime, I think his time may have passed and *was* when Obama ran the first time. When we were losing 800,000 jobs a month, when the banks gambled all our money away and had to be bailed out, when our environmental protections were being severely undermined, when it was obvious our reason for being in Iraq was a lie, etc., etc. Well, we will see how it goes. I'm going to caucus this year. ---In [email protected], <mdixon.6569@...> wrote : Oh, hell no! He sucks the air out of a room but it's amusing to hear the gasps! His irreverence and lack of PC is *refreshing*. The reactions from people like Anne and Emily, just in FFL, have me rolling on the floor. He's too liberal for me to vote for, unless it's between him and Bernsie or Hillary. Too many *New York values*. I do think he would get people working again though. I like Rubio but question where he really stands on illegal immigration. Being involved with the Gang of Eight gives me reservations. I do like Cruz though.I can't say that I agree with him completely on everything but his record has been that he has stood by everything that he said he would do when he campaigned for his Senate seat and he;s not afraid to get in the face of his own party leaders. He's a strict constitutionalist and has argued successfully, many cases before the Supreme Court and is a great debater. I think a Cruz/Rubio ticket might be hard to beat. Wonder what Castro would think about that. From: "Bhairitu noozguru@...
