While this may work for some, it never worked for me. Simply by meditating 2x per day, liberation is gained. The most important thing is to focus on liberation. Say prayers for it in times of need. The regulations and restrictions mentioned here may actually interfere with one's quest for liberation, because they may not be in tune with one's personal dharma, and may hinder it, all for the sake of something one has heard, or read on a piece of paper. Having focus on liberation and then unceasingly listening to one's inner voice is far more important that doing pujas, or having dietary or sensory restrictions. > Peace and happiness cannot be derived through impulsive and unbridled freedom. > Actually, there is no freedom without restraint.
