Why not try it? You'll know soon enough if it is satisfying that 
which draws you to it, and then you can decide whether to stop doing 
it, or continue.

Its like the brief description Vaj I think posted of no thoughts 
meditation as a technique. I tried it out right after I read it, and 
liked it, so now I use it as a way to fall asleep when I need rest.
