The contingent of Purusha that were living at the TM hotel in Asbury Park on the Jersey shore at one time were nuts about surfing. They'd go out in very windy weather when the waves and currents were incredibly dangerous. I was on the boardwalk watching when one of them came very close to drowning. When he finally made his way back to shore, he was absolutely exhilarated. He and a couple other Purusha who had been surfing with him got hauled to the police station for having violated the local ordinance against surfing when the red flag was up. (As I recall, they were let go with a warning.) But as far as they were concerned, it was all great fun. ------------------------ Yahoo!
