<jumping in uninvited> Is total eradication of suffering in the world the only worthy goal to have while living in that world? I mean, it's noble and all that, and people have been claiming to be pursuing it for eons. But many of those same people have been responsible for much of the suffering this planet has seen. Might it not be more socially responsible to set one's sights a little lower, like ferinstance, "Be as happy as I can be and treat the people I run into along the Way as well as I am able to treat them" and influence the suffering of the world that way? :-) ------------------------ Yahoo!
