That's generally my attitude as well. But in these
particular discussions, people were talking about
trying to find a way to give charitable donations
that prevented the *receiving* organization from
abusing the money or falling prey to the many traps
associated with getting large sums of money given
to people who aren't used to handling it.  You'll
have to admit that if a few more people had handled
their donations to the TMO as sensibly as these
folks have suggested, that it wouldn't have been
tempted to rip people off the way it clearly has.
