Please realize that I offered no advice to you, other
than to read all sides of the issue before making a
decision, so that it would be an informed decision.

Personally, I believe that the TM movement has *many*
cult-like qualities, but also believe that as cults
go, it's a pretty benevolent one because it has never
gotten its act together and never will.  On the other
hand, I know many people who are *very* happy with the
education they received at MUM, and that is also a 
factor to be considered.  Also, there are many people
on this forum who *share* my view that the TM movement
has many cultlike qualities, but who still live in
Fairfield and would consider living nowhere else.

As in all things, there are many "sides" to the issue.
All that matters in the long run is what is important
to *you*, not what others believe. 

DON'T be swayed by rhetoric one way or another. Based
on your posts, you've only been analyzing the situation
for a short time.  You might want to give it a bit 
more consideration before making a decision.
