Thats why I put it in parentheses. There are others who denied being Gurus and yet could be considered to be so like Ramana Maharshi. In TM this is also part of the non-religious presentation. A guru is he who leads you from darkness to light. and MMY did > not come to the West to personally save (enlighten) souls, he came to > bring a world teaching, like the Pope of Christianity spreading that, > just consider yourself fortunate you happened upon it (TM). I do, in fact. > P.S. I submit MMY is teaching nothing other than *neo-Hinduism*, hey, > the mantras work, what can I say? Is MMY an enlightened > Yogi....sometimes I wonder! BillyG. It's not a relevant question to me at this point. Relevant is what I got from it/him, and how he was a means/tool of Brahman to lead me on. If you see it at the impersonal level there is no problem really. The universal Guru is the archetype of all Gurus and he may adopt any form at any time appropriate to lead you on, away from darkness to the light. > and yes, the TM program IS a Religion...the best!!
