Yes, Shemp, I'm aware of that, thanks.  But The Onion
doesn't usually do racist satire.

It was satirizing discrimination, not racism.

As I said in another post, it was the bits about
the cows and the cooking fires that I found
offensive; that wasn't caste-related, it was a
gratuitous slam at Indians, suggesting that they
were primitive and not terribly bright.
