If all they ever really wanted was cheap nuclear energy for electricity everything could have been worked out. But it is obvious that is not all they wanted, they wanted the ability to enrich uranium so they could make weapons. And nobody in their right minds trusts the number 1 terrorist supporting country in the world with nukes.
