NaZi, of course, is short for National Socialist. His tiff with the communists was an in-the-family fight within the socialist family, the same way Trotsky fought with Stalin...they were off a little between their ideologies but, to them, they were worlds apart. So Hitler referred to the communists as Bolsheviks, I believe, rather than communists. Like the communists, Hitler and his socialists believed in central control of the economy and the means of production.
