That may be true- I don't know- haven't looked into it. But it just 
doesn't feel accurate to me. It seems like given the depth of 
knowledge that Maharishi has taught, and I'm just referring to the 
stuff I know firsthand, like TM and TM-Sidhis, that corruption would 
creep into the practice if he were not pure in his intentions. And 
that I would notice, and drop it. That has been my experience 
generally in life- personally, socially, economically and 
spiritually.

I have never met Maharishi in the flesh, and didn't get all sold out 
to him- the ignorance in the TMO delightfully prevented me, every 
time I approached such a step. So I have not experienced 'the death 
of my Messiah' directly as have others here. I also have had a 
fundamental perspective on Self realization that through my own 
knowledge and surrender this would be achieved, not through someone 
else. As for the world becoming enlightened, that remains an 
engaging and wondrous game, as I have come to realize that the world 
and my Self are one and the same.
