It seems at least likely that fossil fuels are CONTRIBUTING to (if not entirely responsible for) global warming. Perhaps some of the warming would have happened as part of the natural cycle of things. But science seems to have shown that we are a contributor. Regardless of what is the primary cause, we know that reducing emissions will at least help the situation, and as added bonuses - make the air we breathe better and cleaner and reduce dependence on oil. Why would anyone object, unless they are invested in oil? Is The Flat Earth Society a joke? I couldn't tell!
