My uncle went through it > for a while. ECT is a horrible procedure of last resort that is used for drug resistant depression. On my TTC someone asked MMY about it and the stress it would create in the nervous system. The person asked how many years would it take to get enlightened (yeah, back in the day!) if several ECT sessions had been done ( I believe she was talking about her mother).
