ECT is a horrible procedure of last resort that is
used for drug resistant depression. On my TTC someone
asked MMY about it and the stress it would create in
the nervous system. The person asked how many years
would it take to get enlightened (yeah, back in the
day!) if several ECT sessions had been done ( I
believe she was talking about her mother). MMY under
his breath said, "How many lifetimes?" and then spoke
directly into the mic and said, "What hummm?"
pretending he hadn't understood her.
