They're still householders by MMY' definition. MMY himself is a householder. I heard him say it on tape once. If you're enlightened, any desires are either fulfilled effortlessly or simply don't arise or fade rapidly when they aren't fulfilled. Insomuch as someone growing towards enlightenment starts to reflect the qualities of someone enlightened, ALL your desires will start to become effortlessly fulfilled. That's not because all desires become fulfilled, but mosty because you start to only desire things that are appropriate for fulfillment. There's also the issue of having more energy available to put on fulfilling a desire, but that isn't as important, I think, as simply spontaneously having desires that are fulfillable in the first place.
