Yeah, well, the Zimmermans gave a load of money to build the new 
Fairfield library, but you'll never see them there. Philanthropy is 
usually a genuine desire to improve or help out the community 
regardless of one's personal interest in using the particular project.

Also, the train noise is a serious intrusion on campus peace and 
quiet -- on south campus, if the windows are open, conversation comes 
to a halt when the train blasts, so rich folks who are attending some 
event would have an interest in stopping the noise, for themselves 
and for their kids in MSAE.
