The story I heard about the puja painting of Guru Dev (can't remember from whom it was, but it was in the late 90's), was that it was done by an artist in India. A TM teacher while travelling in India, happenned to wander into this artist's shop and saw the painting on the wall. He asked the artist about it, and was told that he had painted it so many years ago. The artist had no idea that it had been used for so many millions of intiations around the world, and was quite pleased to hear about it. Word got to Maharishi that the artist had been found.
