Yes, because low superadiance numbers supposedly bring about horrendous plane crashes with 271 deaths. At least, that's what I heard the other day. Reminds me of the time I was flying on TWA and had to make a connection in St. Louis. I previously had avoided that airline, but they were the only one with a discount price at short notice. I had to wait over four hours for the connection, because of thunderstorms, and while waiting I come across a local newspaper headline mentioning the four or five times an engine had fallen off of a TWA plane.
