That happened to Christ’s disciples when he died, didn’t it? He was able to give them a major infusion of shakti from the other side. I remember John Gray telling me, when he was still very devoted to MMY, that he looked forward to MMY’s death for this reason. This is what MMY said in Hotel Samoa in Majorca, fall of 1971, Johnny may have been there. He told us that when a great saint dies, leaves the body, that it *thrills the atmosphere* and the society or community where that saint lived gains great benefits. He said that in certain places it became dangerous for saints to live because the population knew this and would kill anyone suspected of being a great soul for that very purpose. I don't recall of M indicated this in that same lecture or if I heard it else where, that disciples of great saints often get enlightened when their master drops the body.
