Of course. I'm not sure what your point is.
I realize that. Water boarding, while it may have been developed by Koreans or Vietnamese or Chinese for obtaining false confessions, it is very effective also when used to get information. You have to know what questions to ask. You also would have to have a way of corroborating or verifying what information you receive, which could easily come from other prisoners or any number of sources. Remember, Sheik Kahlid Mohammed and others have  gone under water boarding and spilled their guts to cooperate after only a few seconds and given valuable information which checked out. If it were not working why would they bother to want to be able to have it as a tool? Surely you don't think the CIA just wants to take revenge on these bastards and get their jollies watching them get the crap scared out of them. But... then maybe you do.
