I don't think anyone held a gun to anyone's head, to wear a crown. Perhaps they like wearing crowns. Many monarchs past and present seem to like their crowns... Besides, who cares? Look at the Catholic church, and all of their head-dress; Those Native Americans, were many pretty wild cults...? Yes?
