People denounce conspiracies as being impossible because "everyone would know about it and no-one can keep secrets that well, etc." I was browsing through the Congressional hearings on Perl Harbor and ran across the testimony by the radio operator whose job it was to attempt to warn Perl Harbor of the declaration of war. When asked why he didn't make repeated attempts to contact them, he responded that there was a storm in the area and he hadn't been able to get through earlier so he didn't keep trying. The congress-critter didn't follow up... Anyone else ever been in the military? Does this sound a tad "off" to you also?
