Incorrect. There are 4 main reasons why WW II was won by the allies. 1. The Brit. Montgomery's defeat of Rommels tank divisions in N. Africa 2. The battle of Brtitain in which the Royal Air Force virtually destroyed the bulk of the the German airforce (if this had not been done the Americans and Canadians would not have made it across the Atlantic. Period) 3. The British capture from the Germans in a brilliant manouver of the German "enigma" machine which allowed them to track UB movements for years, warning ships where the UB-boats were (if this had not been done the Americans and canadians would not have made it across the Atlantic. Period) 4. The British invention and massive deploymeny of radar.(if this had not been done the Americans and canadians would not have made it across the Atlantic. Period) Without these the US would have been sunk in the ocean.
