Well, yes, Jim was most definitely claiming that was the intention, and you agreed with him. Read what he wrote again: "That chart gave me the creeps! It has a very passive-agressive feel to it, sort of a big F-you to humanity...not nice at all. OTOH, sure let's continue to try to be responsible energy producers/consumers." > Your claiming that we have a problem because we felt this way about > the graphic reveals a lot about how you view the world. Was your > emotional reaction the "right" way to feel Judy? Charming. LOL! Let's say I think anybody who reacts to a reminder that the human race isn't all-powerful and eternal as if it were an insult to humankind to even mention it reveals a lot about how *they* view the world, and themselves. And if one of your "brothers" had been the one to link to the chart, and it had been I who had said it was a "passive-aggressive F-you to humanity" and "not nice," you and Jim would be trying to put *me* down for saying such a thing. Dig yourselves. It's one thing to say that reminder was unsettling. It's quite another to accuse the folks who made the chart of being nasty people who hate humanity. The chart is from TreeHugger.com, a "green" site promoting environmentalism and sustainable energy. Right in line with Jim's exhortation to be responsible energy producers/consumers.
