Hard to imagine a better demonstration of Barry's
addiction to falsehood than this.

First, everything I wrote is soldidly grounded
in fact.

Second, I have *never* accused Barry of being
a criminal.

Not in any more of a "snit" than usual, sorry.

It's just that when you're really feeling bad
about yourself, you tend to make yourself a lot
more vulnerable to being slammed: You lie more
and more obviously; and your slams at me and
others are much less coherent and way more off
the wall.

You've been dangerously close to going off the
rails for the past few weeks, and you really
lost it when you started ranting about the Terra
Linda/Lynch thing. It's been downhill ever since,
and here you are now, damn near the bottom of the
slide.

You're such an obnoxious, dishonest prig at the
best of times that it's beyond my capacity to
resist giving you little shoves to hasten your
descent when you get into one of these fulminating
states.

A year or so ago on alt.m.t I did twit Barry by
*asking* if he had cheated on his French taxes.
He had just gone off the rails in one of his
more spectacular crash-and-burn sequences, and I
couldn't help adding a little fuel to the
conflagration because it was such fun to watch.

The result was truly hilarious. Anyone who's
up for a romp through one of Barry's psychotic
episodes can find it here:
