I totally agree about the hunters, and I know a few of them, and I have told them that. That I respect it. I can't stand it when meat- eaters that think vegetatians are pussies but baulk at the sight of an animal slaughterd on TV or something. Most of my hunter friends are not republicans or democrats, but are independently minded and would vote for the issues not the party, but they are VERY much environmentalists which puts them at odds with much of what the republicans do. Most hunters are now working WITH environmentalists to counter bad republican environmental policy. This trend will only grow now.
