This is about the ad, Lawson, not the Couric interview. In any case, the medication *increases* the movements, it doesn't decrease them. The Parkinson's patient whose condition is well advanced, as Fox's is, essentially has to choose between being able to move but not having much control, and being rigid. He had trouble articulating his words throughout the interview; his mouth and tongue were rigid. That's a sign of the medication not having the desired effect. In the ad, according to him, the medication was having *too* much effect. He was able to speak clearly, but there was a lot of extraneous movement. Again according to him, it's not a matter of how much medication you take, but of how much effect your regular dose has on any given day. Apparently it varies for no known reason.
