There's also the possibility that being worshipful in the feeling sense is part 
how the ritual 
works. Alister Crawly used to practice a deity-du-jour mode so he could switch 
from 
evoking one deity to another in a "sincere" way. TM teachers are told what they 
should be 
feeling during various steps of the puja, I understand. /shrug.
