Pardon me for poking into this arguement.  Many Scientists now seriously doubt that the Revelations was written by St. John.  The writing style of his Gospel and Revelations differ greatly.  Emotional style of the revelations does not seem to have any connection with the St. John's Gospel.

Many think, Revelations was probably written by some Jew who was angered by the Roman oppression.  The city on Seven hills is Rome.

The Character of Christianity itself would have been radicaly different if the two chapters 'Genesis and Revelations' had not found their way into the Bible.

So a rational mind might suspect that Jesus was also gay ? !, and
his church was promoted by all his gay friends. Paul was definitely
gay, so was the St. John...the guy that wrote 'Revelations' . I think
Peter was gay too, but Jesus was very rude to him and called him "a
rock" !! Poor guy, he must have been the scapegoat of the gang.
Judas went both ways, and was WAY the coolest of the bunch. He was
like the Doc. Holiday of the 12 disciple jesusfreaks.
