Most fundamentalists teach the existence of demonic powers and maintain that the powers other than Jehovah that people worship and call God are demonic. They're all part of Satan's plot to lure human beans away from Jehovah. I don't see anything of "many faces, one God" in what he says. "God of all gods" doesn't mean one God comprising many gods, it means one God and a bunch of other entirely separate beings who call themselves gods but aren't. Also, fundamentalist preachers don't learn about other religions in the spirit of ecumenism. It's a matter of "know the enemy" and impress the flock with your knowledge thereof. Fundamentalist take the Bible as the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit so they don't feel the need to learn other religions from within the perspective of that religion and in fact would feel deceived if they did, since Paul said something to the effect "any other paths to God, other than through Jesus, are doctrines of demons". This is where Pat Robertson and any other devout Christian gets their thinking. Paul's quote is considered scripture, revealed by the Holy Spirit, thus the Truth.
