There is a small percentage of the population that probably should not practice TM and this certainly would include people with psychotic symptoms. Also the TM sidhis, and I don't have any numbers here, did seem to have quite a decompensating effect on some people. I personally know 4 people who really went off the deep end with the siddhis.
